Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 10.31% or 3.30 points to trade at 35.30 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 9.76% or 2.80 points to end at 31.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 9.46% or 0.350 points to 4.050 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which lost 1.92% or 2.00 points to trade at 102.00 in late trade. Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) declined 1.75% or 1.00 points to end at 56.25 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) shed 1.75% or 0.35 points to 19.65.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 121 to 34 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.59% or 0.76 to $48.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.34% or 0.68 to hit $51.60 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.25 to trade at $1200.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 3.9842, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.44.
