Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for April delivery traded at USD51.08 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.62%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD51.17 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD48.71 and resistance at USD52.40.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD96.37.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for April delivery rose 0.50% to trade at USD60.98 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD9.9 a barrel.
