Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Transport and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 5.67% or 1.60 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) added 5.63% or 0.65 points to end at 12.20 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) was up 5.17% or 4.25 points to 86.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which lost 3.38% or 0.50 points to trade at 14.30 in late trade. Saudi Marke (SE:4006) declined 3.11% or 2.25 points to end at 70.00 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 2.06% or 0.60 points to 28.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 58 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.90% or 0.43 to $48.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.00% or 0.52 to hit $51.84 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.84% or 9.60 to trade at $1139.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.2240, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 95.55.
