Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.90%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which rose 4.79% or 31.5 points to trade at 689.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.16% or 270 points to end at 8805 and Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) was up 3.06% or 8.7 points to 292.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 0.19% or 0.8 points to trade at 416.2 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) added 0.03% or 0.1 points to end at 367.6 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) gained 0.23% or 2.0 points to 857.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.12% or 0.05 to $41.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.27% or 0.12 to hit $44.30 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.71% or 21.40 to trade at $1226.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6035, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.86.
