Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD76.27 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.55%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD76.80 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD73.92 and resistance at USD76.80.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.12% to trade at USD87.60.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery rose 0.16% to trade at USD79.58 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.31 a barrel.
