Investing.com - Housing starts in Japan rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said that Japanese Housing Starts rose to a seasonally adjusted 7.8%, from 0.2% in the preceding quarter.
Analysts had expected Japanese Housing Starts to fall to -2.4% in the last quarter.
