Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 4.22% or 12.8 points to trade at 315.9 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) added 3.31% or 17.0 points to end at 531.0 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was up 1.96% or 3.7 points to 192.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which lost 0.95% or 2.7 points to trade at 282.2 in late trade. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) declined 0.76% or 5.5 points to end at 717.0 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) shed 0.56% or 0.8 points to 142.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 100 to 56 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.63% or 0.37 to $58.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.28% or 0.18 to hit $66.28 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.36% or 16.00 to trade at $1190.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.37% to 6.6916, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4654.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.55.
