Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 9.16% or 2.98 points to trade at 35.53 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 3.62% or 8.9 points to end at 254.6 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 3.01% or 5.0 points to 171.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 1.00% or 2.7 points to trade at 266.1 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.08% or 0.1 points to end at 121.7 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) gained 0.15% or 0.5 points to 324.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.31% or 0.14 to $45.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.47% or 0.22 to hit $46.62 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.40% or 5.45 to trade at $1356.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.7354, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4401.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 96.40.
