Benzinga - “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author Robert Kiyosaki on Tuesday expressed his opinion on Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) and predicted scenarios where apex crypto can breakout.

What Happened: Kiyosaki believes that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 in value. Although he did not give a specific timeline to when this would happen.

Furthermore, Kiyosaki also made a bold prediction concerning Bitcoin in the event of a worldwide economic crash. According to him, if the world economy were to collapse, Bitcoin would soar to a $1 million in value.

He has been a long-time advocate for precious metals like gold and silver, and BTC. He believes that these assets have a special power and have been sought after and fought for throughout history.

Why It Matters: Cathie Wood, CEO of Ark Investment Management, has reaffirmed her belief that Bitcoin serves as a hedge against inflation. However, she also acknowledges the potential risk of deflation in the future. Despite this concern, Wood maintains her optimistic stance on the price of Bitcoin and stands by her prediction that it could reach $1 million.

In Ark Invest’s Big Ideas release for 2023, Wood noted that “the price of one bitcoin could exceed $1 million in the next decade.”

Kiyosaki has been vocal about his belief in the decline of the US dollar and has warned about its potential demise.

Earlier this week, Kiyosaki expressed concern about the future of the dollar as the BRICS nations and other countries proposed a common currency called “bric” that would be tied to gold. He predicted that 1 bric would be equivalent to 1 ounce of gold, valued at $3,000.

Price Action: At the time of writing, BTC was trading at $29,173 down 0.23% in the last 24 hours, according to Benzinga Pro.
