Investing.com - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.542 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 2.46%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD2.521 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.521 and resistance at USD2.620.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.80% to trade at USD97.45.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery rose 2.56% to trade at USD57.60 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 2.83% to trade at USD1.9238 per gallon.
