On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD3.936 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.64%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD3.929 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.929 and resistance at USD4.529.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.59% to trade at USD87.89.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for January delivery rose 3.87% to trade at USD68.71 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery rose 2.67% to trade at USD2.2190 per gallon.
