On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for January delivery traded at USD4.202 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 3.51%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD4.188 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD4.155 and resistance at USD4.529.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.24% to trade at USD88.22.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for January delivery fell 6.80% to trade at USD68.68 a barrel while Heating oil for January delivery fell 5.14% to trade at USD2.2095 per gallon.
