Earlier, it traded at a session low USD4.388 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD3.989 and resistance at USD4.457.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.10% to trade at USD88.13.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for December delivery fell 0.06% to trade at USD77.95 a barrel while Heating oil for December delivery fell 0.12% to trade at USD2.4557 per gallon.
