Investing.com - Natural gas futures were higher in U.S. trade on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD2.999 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.55%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD3.047 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.856 and resistance at USD3.047.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 1.04% to trade at USD94.26.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for July delivery fell 1.12% to trade at USD59.86 a barrel while Heating oil for June delivery fell 1.16% to trade at USD1.9816 per gallon.
