Investing.com - Natural gas futures were higher in U.S. trade on Tuesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for May delivery traded at USD2.793 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 1.21%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD2.833 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.717 and resistance at USD2.946.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.18% to trade at USD97.37.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for May delivery rose 0.61% to trade at USD47.74 a barrel while Heating oil for April delivery fell 0.72% to trade at USD1.7183 per gallon.
