On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for June delivery traded at USD4.781 per million British thermal units at time of writing rising 0.72%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD4.818 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD4.696 and resistance at USD4.818.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.09% to trade at USD79.88.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for June delivery rose 0.55% to trade at USD102.00 a barrel while Heating oil for May delivery rose 0.55% to trade at USD2.9973 per gallon.
