Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in European trade on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for August delivery traded at USD1316.30 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.05%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1313.60 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1305.40 and resistance at USD1326.60.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD80.25.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for September delivery fell 0.28% to trade at USD21.103 a troy ounce while Copper for September delivery rose 0.14% to trade at USD3.176 a pound.
