Investing.com - Gold futures were lower in Asian trade on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1177.40 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 1.38%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1176.30 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1173.90 and resistance at USD1204.10.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.12% to trade at USD87.79.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 2.03% to trade at USD15.963 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery fell 0.09% to trade at USD3.030 a pound.
