Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1324.70 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1306.80 and resistance at USD1333.10.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.00% to trade at USD79.82.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for September delivery fell 0.13% to trade at USD21.083 a troy ounce while Copper for September delivery fell 0.00% to trade at USD3.204 a pound.
