Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Monday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1156.60 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 1.13%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1155.80 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1130.40 and resistance at USD1179.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.26% to trade at USD87.88.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 0.61% to trade at USD15.618 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery fell 0.50% to trade at USD3.023 a pound.
