Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the European session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1290.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.45%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1289.60 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1286.60 and resistance at USD1306.50.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.19% to trade at USD79.73.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for July delivery fell 1.15% to trade at USD19.313 a troy ounce while Copper for July delivery fell 0.26% to trade at USD3.065 a pound.
