On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1289.40 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.07%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1285.90 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1282.00 and resistance at USD1307.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.10% to trade at USD79.95.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for May delivery fell 0.09% to trade at USD19.368 a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 0.41% to trade at USD3.030 a pound.
