Investing.com - Gold futures were higher during the European session on Tuesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery traded at USD1311.10 a troy ounce at time of writing rising 0.14%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD1314.20 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1275.20 and resistance at USD1315.70.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.27% to trade at USD79.33.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for July delivery rose 0.44% to trade at USD19.658 a troy ounce while Copper for July delivery fell 0.07% to trade at USD3.051 a pound.
