Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 3.45% or 8.3 points to trade at 249.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) added 3.16% or 11.2 points to end at 365.6 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) was up 2.88% or 10.6 points to 378.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which lost 0.37% or 0.14 points to trade at 37.48 in late trade. William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) declined 0.09% or 0.5 points to end at 561.5 and ISS A/S (COP:ISS) gained 0.04% or 0.10 points to 230.60.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 55 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.93% or 1.32 to $46.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.97% or 0.94 to hit $48.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.44% or 5.00 to trade at $1132.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 6.6556, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4603.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.58% at 95.92.
