Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD80.37 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.92%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD80.30 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD79.44 and resistance at USD82.88.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.59% to trade at USD86.76.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery fell 1.12% to trade at USD85.28 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.91 a barrel.
