On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD102.81 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.11%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD102.72 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD101.55 and resistance at USD104.20.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD80.18.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.01% to trade at USD108.60 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.79 a barrel.
