On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD100.47 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.29%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD100.33 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.97 and resistance at USD100.98.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.19% to trade at USD79.12.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.64% to trade at USD107.75 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.28 a barrel.
