On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD100.98 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.07%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD100.83 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD100.22 and resistance at USD103.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD80.25.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 0.05% to trade at USD107.66 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.68 a barrel.
