On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD101.84 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.44%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD101.72 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD101.78 and resistance at USD104.20.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.03% to trade at USD80.04.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.05% to trade at USD108.16 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.32 a barrel.
