On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for August delivery traded at USD104.05 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.42%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD103.97 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD103.97 and resistance at USD106.09.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.05% to trade at USD80.02.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for August delivery fell 0.02% to trade at USD110.99 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.94 a barrel.
