Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.09 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.93%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD55.90 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.90 and resistance at USD58.63.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.03% to trade at USD98.23.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.80% to trade at USD61.69 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.6 a barrel.
