Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD72.80 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.75%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD72.63 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD72.63 and resistance at USD77.02.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD87.71.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery fell 1.32% to trade at USD76.61 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.81 a barrel.
