On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD75.33 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.43%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD75.33 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD73.22 and resistance at USD77.09.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.14% to trade at USD87.89.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery fell 0.28% to trade at USD78.92 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD3.59 a barrel.
