Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD78.86 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.24%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD78.77 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD75.84 and resistance at USD80.98.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.09% to trade at USD87.61.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery fell 0.13% to trade at USD83.08 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.22 a barrel.
