Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD101.05 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.75%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD101.23 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.87 and resistance at USD101.96.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.11% to trade at USD80.70.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.32% to trade at USD106.48 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.43 a barrel.
