On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for July delivery traded at USD102.16 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.57%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD102.30 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD100.82 and resistance at USD102.30.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.14% to trade at USD80.01.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 0.30% to trade at USD110.08 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.92 a barrel.
