On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD102.08 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.28%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD102.14 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD99.94 and resistance at USD102.64.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.25% to trade at USD80.32.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD109.31 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.23 a barrel.
