On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD100.38 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.12%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD100.41 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD98.82 and resistance at USD100.44.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.13% to trade at USD80.27.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for May delivery rose 0.13% to trade at USD107.17 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.79 a barrel.
