On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD61.03 a barrel at time of writing rising 1.05%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD61.03 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD58.32 and resistance at USD61.10.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.32% to trade at USD94.96.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery rose 0.58% to trade at USD68.00 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.97 a barrel.
