Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for May delivery traded at USD55.84 a barrel at time of writing rising 4.79%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD56.67 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD50.08 and resistance at USD56.67.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.39% to trade at USD98.62.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery rose 4.92% to trade at USD62.75 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.91 a barrel.
