On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD101.97 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.27%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD102.03 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD99.76 and resistance at USD102.03.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.09% to trade at USD80.11.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for July delivery rose 0.00% to trade at USD108.64 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.67 a barrel.
