Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD74.34 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.40%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD74.50 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD73.22 and resistance at USD76.48.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.21% to trade at USD87.81.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery rose 0.18% to trade at USD78.53 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.19 a barrel.
