Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower in European trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD47.59 a barrel at time of writing falling 1.93%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD47.42 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD46.68 and resistance at USD49.52.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.20% to trade at USD97.42.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery fell 1.31% to trade at USD52.61 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.02 a barrel.
