The investment seeks to maximize real return, consistent with preservation of real capital and prudent investment management. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in inflation-protected debt securities (or securities with similar economic characteristics). These securities include inflation-indexed bonds of varying maturities issued by the U.S., non-U.S. governments, and their agencies or instrumentalities. It invests only in securities rated investment grade at the time of purchase by a third-party rating agency or, if unrated, deemed to be of comparable quality. The fund is non-diversified.
