Investment Strategy

The investment seeks total return, consisting of long-term capital appreciation and current income. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus borrowings for investment purposes, if any) in U.S. fixed income and equity securities. The following are the ranges within which the advisor expects to allocate the fund's assets among the various asset classes: (1) U.S. equities-20-90%; (2) investment grade fixed income-0-70%; (3) high yield fixed income-0-15%; and (4) cash equivalents-0-50%. It may, but is not required to, use exchange-traded or over-the-counter derivative instruments for risk management purposes or as part of its investment strategies.

Biography Evan Brown, CFA is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Multi-Asset Strategy in the Investment Solutions team at UBS Asset Management. Biography Nicole is a Portfolio Manager and Head of Growth Portfolios within the Investment Solutions team, based in New York. She is responsible for the management and investment oversight of all growth portfolios globally. In January 2020, Nicole joined UBS Asset Management from JPMorgan Asset Management's Multi-Asset Solutions team, where she was the lead portfolio manager responsible for managing Global Tactical Asset Allocation (GTAA) and balanced portfolios for institutional and retail clients. Prior to that, Nicole was a portfolio manager for a range of different multi-asset class solutions, including flexible total return portfolios with private markets, diversified benchmark-aware mandates, 529 age-based portfolios, inflation aware multi-strategy funds, liability-driven investment (LDI) portfolios and target date funds. Biography Mr. Lang is a Portfolio Manager within the Investment Solutions team. His primary focus is designing, implementing, and managing traditional and custom discretionary portfolios, including one of the largest corporate strategic partnerships in the US. From September 2011 until joining UBS AM in January 2014, Mr. Lang held quantitative analyst and manager positions at Prudential Financial, where he supported the Institutional Stable Value business through product design, stochastic modeling and pricing of the USD 100+ billion portfolio. Mr. Lang is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago.

Mr. Zlatar joined UBS Asset Management in February 2018 from Vontobel Asset Management where he was most recently Head of Macro & Strategy and Deputy Head of Group Investment Strategy, Multi Asset Class Investments.

Biography Mr. Buckle is an Executive Director and is Head of Benchmark Relative Return Strategies – Asset Allocation and Currency on the Global Investment Solutions team. As a member of the Asset Allocation and Currency Committee, Mr. Buckle contributes to strategy setting across the full range of capabilities of the Global Investment Solutions team. Prior to joining UBS Global AM in 2007, Mr. Buckle was Head of Non-U.S. Fixed Income at Principal Global Investors. Prior to joining Principal Global Investors, Mr. Buckle worked at BlackRock (formerly Merrill Lynch Investment Managers) as Head of Currency Management and Lee Overlay Partners as Head of Research. Mr. Buckle has been a portfolio manager for the fund since July 2011.
