The objective of this fund is to provide unitholders with a high-income return. The assets of this fund consist primarily of corporate and government bonds. The fund also invests in high-quality money market instruments and first mortgage loans. The fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in foreign securities. The fund may also invest in other classes of securities, such as mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities and mortgage debts. These securities are selected on the basis of their yield spreads as compared to bonds of the same quality and same term.
