The objective of this Sub-Fund is to provide, with a non-guaranteed maximum volatility level of 20%, an attractive level of return from a portfolio invested, directly or indirectly through UCITS or UCIs, in a diversified range of fixed interest instruments and equities, listed or traded worldwide. The Sub-Fund will invest directly, or indirectly through third party investment funds (UCITS or UCIs), in fixed income securities like Government Bonds and corporate bonds including Investment Grade and High Yield, and equities of OECD public or private issuers quoted or traded on OECD official stock exchanges or regulated markets while seeking to control economic and monetary risks, but not excluding investments in emerging countries. The Sub-Fund's equity exposure may vary from 50% to 100% of its net assets depending on market conditions and the Investment Manager's markets view.

Biography | Stefano Amato is a Head of Multi Asset Solutions at Santander Asset Management UK, after joining in September 2017 to initially focus on Asset Allocation and Total Return mandates. Prior to this, he was a Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in London, where Stefano was part of the Endowments and Foundations Group and was responsible for managing institutional portfolios including asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection, risk management and client communications. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr Amato was Head of Portfolio Management at Centurion Portfolio Managers – a UK-based multi-family office – where he focused on building and managing multi asset portfolios focused on long-term returns. Stefano has 13 years’ experience in investments spanning both sell-side and buy-side experience, having started his career with roles in equity derivatives at Lehman Brothers and Societe Generale. Mr Amato holds a MSc in Finance from London Business School, along with a Masters in Behavioural Economics and a BA in Communication Sciences and Technologies from IULM University in Milan, Italy. | ||

Biography | Tom Caddick has overall responsibility for all investment activity within Santander Asset Management UK (SAM UK), heading a team of investment professionals across a range of asset classes and strategies with more than £20 billion of assets under management and advice. At SAM UK, Tom is also a Member of the Santander UK Risk Committee, UK Management Committee and chairs the UK Investment Governance Committee. Tom Caddick has 20 years’ experience in fund management and has held several senior fund manager roles during this time.
