This Sub-Fund aims to generate returns by actively managing a portfolio comprised predominantly of bonds and Money Market Instruments denominated in US Dollars issued by Asian issuers, e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, India, Hong Kong, China and other countries in the same geographical area.

Biography Shilpa Singhal joined Schroders in January 2023 as a Asian Credit Portfolio Manager responsible for Pan-Asian and Emerging Market Credit strategies. She has over 15 years of credit investment experience in Asian and Emerging Markets. Previously, Shilpa joined NN Investment Partners as a Senior Credit Analyst, and subsequently resumed the role of the Portfolio Manager for Asian Credit across benchmarked and total return strategies, as well as ESG-focused strategies. Prior to her stint at NN Investment Partners, she worked for Standard Chartered and Merrill Lynch as a Credit Analyst. Shilpa holds a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Economics from Presidency College, Calcutta University. She is also a CFA Charterholder.

Biography Prashant Singh, CFA, Managing Director, joined Neuberger Berman in 2013. Mr. Singh is the Lead Portfolio Manager (Asia) on the Emerging Markets Debt team. Mr. Singh is responsible for managing the emerging markets debt portfolios in the Asia region, focusing on rates and currencies. Mr. Singh joined Neuberger Berman after working at ING Investment Management, where he held a similar role. Mr. Singh joined ING Investment Management in 2003. Mr. Singh graduated from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, India with a BS in Mathematics and earned an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, specializing in Finance.
