Investment Strategy

The Momentum Property Fund aims to provide investors with the combination of high income and long term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of listed property collective investment schemes, property unit trusts, property loan stock, other equity listed in a real estate sector of Johannesburg Securities Exchange and cash. The portfolio will only invest in domestic counters and will not invest offshore. The portfolio can hold up to 50% of the portfolio in cash during periods when suitably priced property instruments are not available.

Biography	Nesi joined RMB Asset Management in 2002 after completing his finance honours degree. Nesi was subsequently appointed head of financials in 2009 and fund manager of the Momentum Financials Fund. He currently manages the Momentum Property Fund and is responsible for property, beverage and leisure sector research.

Biography	Norman joined RMB Asset Management in 2000. Norman has been actively involved in setting up investment processes and held the position of Chief Investment Officer in SCMB. Mackechnie has been a member of the investment team since 1993 and progressed from being involved in equity and fixed-interest selection to a senior portfolio manager. Norman started his career in investments in 1988 and has worked as an investment analyst and portfolio manager in asset management divisions.

Biography	Andrew Vintcent joined Stanlib in March 2010 as Head of Research, Vintcent will also manage STANLIB's Prosperity unit trust fund. Previously, Vintcent spent 11 years at RMB Asset Management, both as an analyst and a Portfolio Manager. He joined RMB in 1999 where he filled a variety of roles including Banking Analyst and Head of Financial Research. He managed 2 award winning funds (Raging Bull Awards) – these being the RMB High Tide fund in the Flexible Asset Allocation sector which he ran between 2002 and 2010, and the RMB Strategic Opportunities fund, an equity fund in the Growth sector, which he ran between 2007 and 2010.

Biography	Royce was employed at RMB Asset Management for 12 years from 1995 to 2007. During his tenure at RMB Asset Management he was Head of Financial sector research as well as a member of the Asset Allocation Committee. He also served on the board of RMB Unit Trusts Pty(Ltd). Throughout his career he has managed an array of investment products including Specialist Equity, Balanced funds and Hedge Funds. Royce co-founded Obsidian Capital (Pty) Ltd in 2007 and is co-manager of the Obsidian SCI Balanced Fund Unit Trust with Richard Simpson. Richard and Royce are the joint founders and Directors of Obsidian Capital.
