Investment Strategy

The primary objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve long term growth in the share price through capital appreciation, measured in US Dollars, of the underlying equity portfolio. The Principal Investment Manager will seek to achieve the objective of the Sub-Fund by investing mainly in equities and equity related securities of sector leading companies domiciled in or exercising a large portion of their economic activity in countries (including, but not limited to, territories and special administrative regions) of Asia (ex. Japan) such as Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines but additional opportunities are also sought, whenever regulations permit, in any of the emerging market in Asia.

Prior to joining Mirae Asset in 2006, Mr. Chadha was a senior equity analyst for two years at Standard Chartered Mutual Funds, where he was responsible for sector coverage in India. He also served as a senior research analyst at Aviva Life Insurance from 2003 to 2005. Mr. Chadha began his career in financial services in 1999 as a research analyst covering Indian equities at Dundee Mutual Funds. Mr. Chadha holds a Master of Finance and Control degree and a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Delhi. He is based in Hong Kong and is fluent in Hindi.

Biography	Investment career commenced in 2009 and joined Schroders in 2021. Currently managing Sustainable Asian Equities strategy and based in Hong Kong. Wei Wei joined Schroders from Mirae Asset Management where he managed China and Regional portfolios, as well as a senior investment analyst covering Industrials, Telecoms and Autos sectors (2014 –2021). Prior to this, Wei Wei was a senior research associate at Citigroup Global Markets Asia covering the Hong Kong/China Consumer sectors (2011 – 2014). His investment career began in 2009 with Allianz Global Investors (formerly Allianz-RCM Asia Pacific), where he was a Research Associate for the Global Equities team. BSc (Hons) majoring in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), London. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Environmental, Social and Governance Analyst (CESGA).
